Intention:
Aus Apfeltrester (Pressrückstände bei der Herstellung von Apfelsaft) sollen in einem Industrie-fähigen Prozess Polyphenole extrahiert und enzymatisch oxidiert werden um natürliche Farbstoffe für Lebensmittel zu erhalten.

Project "Terpenes as building blocks for biobased polyamides"

Intention:
Terpenes, that arise e.g. as by-products in paper production, shall be processed into biobased polyamides in industrially capable processes. Furthermore, material tests should show suitable technological application fields.

Project "Thermoglucosesensor" - Real-time monitoring of glucose concentrations

Intention:
Development of a sensor to measure glucose concentrations in biotechnological processes continuously and in real time. The sensor is particularly suitable for high process temperatures and is intended to enable optimized control of the processes.

Project "FINAL" - Olive extract as antioxidant for sausage products

Intention:
Functional substances from olive leaves, which are obtained in large quantities as residual material, shall be used as natural spice extract in sausage products in order to reduce oxidation.
